Now offering Equine Assisted Learning/Wellness in addition to Riding Lessons!

Hidden Creek Equestrian Center LLC was established in the Summer of 2010, formerly doing business as Horse Sense.  Private lessons are offered in English Riding, Horsemanship, Stable Management & Equine Care, and Groundwork.  Equine Assisted Learning/Wellness sessions (ground based) are also offered.  Hidden Creek Equestrian Center serves the Colorado Springs, Falcon, Peyton, Calhan, Black Forest and surrounding areas.

Hidden Creek Equestrian Center Owner/Operator, Susan Borders, is an experienced riding instructor Certified with the British Horse Society, and Association of British Riding Schools.  Susan was formally trained and educated at British Horse Society and Association of British Riding Schools Approved Riding Centers in the United Kingdom, and has continued her training and education in the USA.  Furthermore, Susan now holds recently acquired Certifications in Equine Assisted Learning. Susan believes in using classically based training and teaching methods, with a focus on safety for both rider and horse, and Susan teaches natural horsemanship principles to help build the harmony, relationship, communication and trust between horse and rider.  In addition, Susan has competed extensively in many English and Western disciplines, including classical dressage, western dressage, eventing (UK), show jumping (UK), hunter/jumper, hunter-under-saddle, pleasure, equitation, horsemanship, showmanship, halter, trail, and ranch riding and western riding.
