2025 Horse Camps for Kids!

Searching for a fun and educational kids horse camp in the Colorado Springs area?

Come and enjoy spending time on our 40 acre ranch, meet the horses of Hidden Creek Equestrian Center, and soak in the sunshine with unparelled views of Pikes Peak, and the spacious prairie!! 

Our camps are run by highly qualified, certified and fully insured Hidden Creek Equestrian Center instructors.  

9am - 2pm

Minimum age 8yrs

$650 per participant, per camp 

***EARLY BIRD SPECIAL $600 PER CAMPER IF PAID IN FULL BY FEBRUARY 1ST! *** 

Cheques preferred; payable to HCEC or Hidden Creek Equestrian Center.  Credit card payments will be invoiced through Square and will incurr a 3% service fee.

Registration opens February 1st

Spaces are limited!  Reserve your spot early!

Deposit of $325 due by February 1st, balance $325 due by April 1st 

No refunds on camp deposit or final balance fees unless camp is cancelled.  If camp is cancelled then fees will be refunded less a $25 fee for administration.

Come and have fun in the sun!   Learn all about horses and life on the ranch!

Camp activities will include grooming, tacking up, riding, horse care, stable management, educational demonstrations, worksheets, arts, crafts and games, barn chores, and much, much more!

Additional activities may include field trips to local tack and feed stores (with parental permission), and demonstrations of veterinary procedures, equine dentals, and farrier work.  

Ribbons will be awarded throughout camp week for equitation and best turned out competitions, games on horseback, barn treasure hunt and other activities!

Many of our campers return each summer for more fun-filled time with horses!

Bring a water bottle, a packed lunch, a hat for sun protection, sunscreen, bug spray, long pants and boots suitable for riding.  We can provide helmets for those who do not have their own.   We will provide snacks and drinks!
